It's been a whole month of 2014!
Already? Time is going so fast, like in that one spy kids movie no one really heard about.
It was alright.
Anyway: January.
It's been a pretty casual month.
With no University or work at the moment, there hasn't been much to do.
I did buy myself a Wii U for Christmas.
That's been a lot of fun.
I've decided that I want to beat all my old wii games on my new Wii U, so I made myself a daily schedule so that I can beat all my games.
It's been pretty good, I'm due to beat Super Mario Galaxy later today.
There was a bit of drama at work involving contracts and a bunch of legal stuff I know nothing about, but it's all been taken care of now, so that's good.
The Centre is due to be open to the public on February 14th, so that's exciting.
I plan on going down, grabbing a master key, and taking a tour.
And one of the new rooms in the centre has become a bit of a project of mine.
I get an email or a phone call from my boss every couple of days or so asking about something or a rather.
It's really exciting and I can't wait for it to be finished.
That's one of the things I love about my job, I get to use my talents in areas that I'd never thought I'd use when I applied, like computer skills and gaming skills.
I'm also like a month into my internship (even though it doesn't really start for another couple of weeks)
Been helping Krystle with this project that's happening in April.
Had to make phone calls and stuff.
I thought I would be nervous but it's turned out pretty good.
We had our first youth services this week.
They were lots of fun, we played games for most of them.
All in all, looking forward to a great year.
For some reason, I feel a lot less stressed out this year, like my mind is a lot less bogged down.
Looking back, I always seemed to be worried about other people.
I'd always get a Word for people, and then stress out about it, but I went to a conference about half a year back and I spoke to the guest speaker about it.
He told me that when God gives you a Word for someone else, it's your job to tell them, not make sure they follow it.
It was pretty good, he told me that he had some experience in this area and that some the leaders he had worked under were a bit "leader prideful" and thought they knew best, so he left them before they ran smack dab into the wall he was trying to steer them clear off.
And no one got on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg (that's an assumption, I've never actually seen the Titanic).
Omigosh, that reminds me. My flatmate Caspian can't go a week without being shocked at some movie I haven't seen.
Like The Lion King (people always gasp at that), but I know what happens, I've played Kingdom Hearts II.
What was I talking about? Oh yeah, clear minds.
So yeah, mind has been free.
It will probably be under more pressure once university starts but, hey, I'm looking forward to it.
Nothing I'm currently associated with is heading down the Iceberg Path.
Man, that's poetic.
The Iceberg Path, by Joel.
Yay, gonna be an author.
Nah, I'm actually going to go play mario now.

A bit about me!
Wow, so this is my first blog..
I don't know what it's going to look like, it currently looks a microsoft document.
I'm okay at design but not at website navigation.
Anyway, I thought I'd do this cuz it'd be fun and because my flatmate Caspian did one.
He's moving in today, on new year's day!
Although, by the time I post this he may already be here!
Exciting!
I did make some new year's resolution but they don't apply til March, so will talk about them later.
I thought for my first blog I'd find 100 questions to answer.
I found some, and I think they're pretty deep.
None of this "what's you're favourite colour" nonsense:
1: What is the story behind one of your scars? I don't have any scars
2: What do you "know now" that you wish you "knew then"? That Santa wasn't real *spoilers*. Honestly, I wasted so much time as a child pandering to that illusion.
3: Have you ever won a trophy? I won some sort of a school wide science trophy in year 12. And in my first year at university I won a film competition's best cameraman trophy. I've still got that one.
4: What subject do you wish you had paid more attention to in school? Probably History. It was so boring!
5: If you could have a drink with someone from history who would it be? Well speaking of history! I'd probably have a drink with Jesus because I'm not too familiar with any historic characters. It'd be like that whole coffee with Jesus comic
6: What is your favorite thing about your mom? Her always caring about me.
7: What song do you love to dance to? I don't really dance to songs. The closest thing I can think of is when I'm at work and Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball comes on the radio, and the line "I came in like a wrecking ball" plays, I like to propel my chair forward dramatically like I just broke through something. I stole this from Shinead -.-
8; What was the worst punishment your parents ever enacted? Probably beatings and grounds, like any normal 90s kid
9: Who was the best boss you ever worked for? I've only ever had one boss, and she's AWESOME! Her name is Debbie, and she's really cool because she's always asking about how our life is going (like university and exams etc.)

18: If you had a time machine and you could go back and change anything, what would it be? Despite this going against my understanding of time travel, if I could, I would probably go back to Renaissance time. I wouldnt change anything I would just absorb the culture.

20: What national park would you like to go to? Do we have those? lol, I'm like the worst geographical person on the planet.
21: What do you feel strongly enough about to protest? Not much, I'm not the biggest fan of conflict.

24: Where are you most likely to be at 8:00 on a Saturday night? Gaming or at work.
25: Who do you work with that you really respect? Um, I work with a lot of awesome people. If I had to choose someone though, I'd probably choose George. He's got a wife, and a little baby girl, and he loves them and takes care of them, and that's pretty respectable I think.
